I went to the Sarasox-Daytona cubs game on Wednesday. Got to see Sox prospects romp Daytona 10-4. Manny Delcarmen, Juan Cedeno, and Jon Papelbon were all sitting near me charting. I got a Sox hat signed by everyone and got Murton, Delcarmen, and Cedeno to sign balls on the sweet spot. Brian Marshall gave me a game used baseball too. I also talked to Delcarmen for about 20 minutes after the game. What a nice guy, I really wish for big things from this guy. He had pitched the previous night and said he hit as high as 98 on the radar gun. He said his arm is feeling better and he fixed a flaw in his mechanics. I was also impressed by Murton's swing. He keeps his head down and just seems to have a good approach.
